Healthy College Grocery List

If you're a freshman and going to buy groceries for the first time, it's a good idea to have a starter list with you. Being able to make your own meals and keeping them both nutritious and economical, can be quite a balancing act. You will need a list of grocery items that you can use to make dishes that will require only a few inexpensive ingredients. Your starter grocery list should include baking mix, sugar, cooking oil, cereal, bread, jam, peanut butter, milk, eggs, cheddar cheese, margarine, butter, frozen meats and meals, ground beef, chicken, tuna, deli meat, apples, oranges, melons, bananas, lettuce, broccoli, corn, mushrooms, potatoes, carrots, beans, peas, onions, lemon juice, apple juice, orange juice, tomato sauce,  barbecue sauce, salsa, salad dressing, oats, rice, pasta, salt, pepper, cinnamon, chili powder, Italian or Greek seasonings, ketchup, mustard, relish, mayonnaise, chips, popcorn, corn chips, cookies, granola bars, soda, coffee, tea, and soup.  The...
